MC Turner Primary Reading Challenge
This half term primary pupils have been inspired to read by MC Grammar (check out his website and YouTube site!). To end our fun reading sessions, we held our very own concert lead by MC Turner supported by our music teacher Gareth. Pupils from class P3 provided a band. We used the rap by MC Grammar of the well-known book Stick Man by Julia Donaldson as inspiration for MC Turners rap, we based the rap around our pet therapy dog Bertie “the coolest pup around” and how “every time he sees a stick, he’s bound to leave the ground.” Primary pupils then did some great work based around the story, including some more raps and some great Stick Man artwork.
