Primary Visit to St George’s Church
Pupils from Primary 1 and Primary 3 made a peaceful and reflective visit to St George’s C of E Church today to find out more about the Easter Story.
They were expertly guided through each stage of the Passion, Death and Resurrection of Christ by knowledgeable volunteers.
Pupils listened to stories from the Gospels and were able to take time to reflect and ask questions at each station to help them think why Jesus is called the Servant King and what the story meant for them.
Pupils shared bread and a drink to commemorate the Last Supper and shared ideas about the joy of the Resurrection on Easter Sunday.
