Riversides School in Race for Life Challenge
Riversides School in Race for Life Challenge
On the 5th July the whole school took part in the annual “Race for life ” challenge. This year being the 2nd year that we have had whole school participation all the way to the top with Mrs Hill (Headteacher) even getting stuck in. The school is very fortunate to have use of the beautiful Worcester racecourse and after 1 and three quarter laps the challenge was complete. Everyone who completed the challenge was cheered across the finish line by parents and former staff who had turned up to support, plus everyone got a medal. This year we double our predicted sponsor money and raised a staggering £500.70 which was presented by Mr Fenner to the local Cancer Research shop in Worcester High Street.
