Race for Life 2023
On the 6th July 2023, Riversides school participated the annual ‘Race for Life’. This event occurred down at Worcester racecourse and the challenge was to run a staggering 1- and three-quarter laps to complete 5K. All staff and pupils that completed the challenge were congratulated at the finish line and presented with an engraved medal for their efforts. It was also fantastic to see parents supporting and cheering on all the competitors throughout the whole race. This year we aimed to achieve £500 and with everyone’s amazing efforts with fundraising we managed to raise an amazing total of £904.30. This was presented by Mr. Owen to the local Cancer research shop in Worcester High Street.
