Black History Month Competition

In order to celebrate diversity and Black History Month, Mr Green set up a competition for pupils to design a piece of artwork of their chosing to celebrate the life or lives of famous black historical figures. Some fantastic entries were received from the pupils across the school and made Mr Green and Mrs Hill’s decision on the winning entries difficult. In the end, three were selected – the Primary 1 “I Have a Dream” poster, the wonderful decorated jelly moulds by Primary 3 and the poster on Paul Ince created by Leon Wyatt in 10S. Well done on all the entries, and a display of all the posters will be seen soon in the main hallway of the school.
