Riversides Red Nose Day
You can always rely on Riversides School to participate all charity events, and this years RED NOSE DAY was no exception.
All staff and children attended school in the mandatory red gear. This year to raise money we asked the children to bring in loose change and the idea was to cover a giant red nose with all the money.
The children had to carefully balance coins on top of coins, which I may say is a tricky skill, until the whole red nose was filled. In fact, so much money was donated that we could have easily filled another nose.
This was followed up by an assembly from Mr Green and then a few fun activities. The final total has not been calculated yet, but it is a lot. Well done everyone.
