Assessment Data

Assessment at Riversides.

Maths assessment at Riversides School is an ongoing process and is consolidated through the use of end of unit assessments in conjunction with end of year assessments for year 10 and year 11. Every term assessment grades for mathematics are submitted by the relevant year group and subject teachers. This data is then collated into a spreadsheet which allows the teachers to generate a flight path graph showing the progress each pupil is making plus their predicted grade in GCSE when each pupil reaches Yr. 11. When any reported grade falls below the flight path, it will trigger an opportunity to review that child’s progress and possibly implement an intervention program that will support and bring the pupil back in line with expectations.  Below you will see examples of the data that has been collated and also there are examples of individual graphs showing the relevant flightpath and progress.
