At Riverside School, we are committed to supporting every student in finding the right pathway for their future. Our post-16 destinations reflect the diverse aspirations, strengths, and needs of our learners, with students progressing to a range of colleges, specialist providers, apprenticeships, training programmes, supported internships, and employment opportunities.

Through personalised careers guidance, work experience placements, employer encounters, and transition planning, we help students develop the skills, confidence, and independence needed for adult life. We work closely with families, education providers, and local employers to ensure that each young person is supported in making informed decisions about their next steps.

We are proud of our students’ achievements and celebrate the successful transitions they make into further education, training, and employment as they continue their journey beyond Riverside School.

The overwhelming majority of our pupils go on to post 16 education either at college with the others pursuing training opportunities within traineeships. Our pupils are well served by the many post 16 providers across the county, ranging from the Heart of Worcestershire College, Kidderminster College, South, Nova Training.
