Meet the Play Specialist

Hi my name is Georgina Howden and I am the newly appointed Play Specialist for Riversides School. I work with the Primary 1 pupils on three afternoons a week doing a wide range of activities to support their emotional development. The activities are all child led and great fun.

I have a public account about play. This is based on play activity ideas I did at the hospital, with my children at home and I will occasionally post about activities from school, just so that you are aware l, for child protection – I never identify any children in photos or text. You will see from my profile photos are of the activity itself occasionally with hands in playing action or back of head. – for school I just photograph the set up activity.
