English – The Egyptian Cinderella
Our Year 6 pupils are thoroughly enjoying their current English text, The Egyptian Cinderella. They have been captivated by the story, making thoughtful predictions about what might happen next and using inference skills to uncover clues about the characters. The class have also been making exciting cross-curricular links with their Topic Work on Ancient Egypt, which has helped to deepen their understanding of both the historical context and the cultural setting of the tale.
