Collective feedback from the staff at Annjam Childrens Home:
Riverside School has been a brilliant placement for MMB. They’ve provided a personal and thoughtful approach that’s supported his learning, growth and overall confidence. The consistency and retention of staff really stood out as it created a safe and familiar environment where MMB felt understood and able to thrive. Communication from the school has been spot-on, with regular updates shared quickly via calls and texts which helped us to support and respond to his needs together. Riversides school truly understand, imbed and follow a person-centred approach. The school also offered fantastic opportunities, from sports with Red Gate to taking part in the Duke of Edinburgh Award, all of which really boosted his self-esteem. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Riverside to any family or provider looking for a warm, proactive and genuinely supportive school environment.

Zack has thoroughly enjoyed his time at Riversides, the teaching and support given by Mr Fenner (and Paula) has been second to none! He has been given the confidence and skills to excitedly move on to the next chapter of his life. Even if didn’t want to be there everyday, the patience and perseverance shown towards him has helped show him you can navigate the difficult situations in life and taught him resilience. Thank you Riversides!

Thank you to all the staff for getting Luke this far!! I’m sure he will be back to visit through the next 2 years to let you all know how he’s getting on at college, you all did a grand job of keeping him in check and getting him to focus on his work . All the staff did a fab job, and my son blossomed under your guidance, he has a lot of respect for you all , Thank you.

Our son’s absolutely loved his time at riversides. It’s been the making of him. The teachers have an understanding that I’ve never found anywhere else. All our children want is to be understood & to be somewhere they belong. His behaviour turned around so much at home we couldn’t believe it. He’s grown into a much more confident & mature young man. Moving our son to Riversides was the best decision we ever made. It’s been the perfect school for him to thrive. The staff are second to none. Thank you all so much.

To all staff,
I just wanted to say thank you for everything that you’ve all done for Athan. He’s blossomed under your care. You’ve given him the confidence to go onto college.
You have treated him like one of your own children and you’ve always been there for me as well, when I have been struggling you have tried to help and find solutions.
I truly believe that all the staff don’t get the recognition you all deserve especially as you get to school early and often leave really late.
Athan and I are really going to miss you all very much.
