Our Year 8 students have been sharing their honest and thoughtful reviews of The Wrong Shoes by Tom Percival — a powerful story about a boy named Will who faces challenges and judgement because of his family’s poverty, symbolised by his worn-out shoes. Pupils explored the book’s emotional depth, identifying the twists and turns in Percival’s writing style and reflecting on the key messages.
