Year 8 – Art – Summer 2
In Summer 2 year 8 students looked for the answer to the question: How can art be used as activism?
Students explored the work of Brazilian artist Rosana Paulino and investigated the issues she is passionate about and how she promotes change.
Students then thought about what matters to them and designed their own canvas inspired by Paulino, before spending a few lessons transferring their design to canvas by sewing.
