Author Visit
For careers this half term, year 9 have been looking at different creative pathways including photography, graphic design and writing.
We were lucky enough to have a visit from local author Andy Griffee. Andy has had a number of crime novels published, many inspired by the local area.
The students enjoyed hearing about the plots of his novels and the writing process, and also some stories from when he was a journalist – they had many questions to ask him!
