PSHE/RSHE Policy
All schools must have in place a written policy for Relationships Education and RSE. Schools must consult parents in developing and reviewing their policy. Schools should ensure that the policy meets the needs of pupils and parents and reflects the community they serve.
There are many excellent examples in which schools have established clear sex education policies in consultation with parents, governors and the wider community, and where they are already delivering effective programmes. Schools should build on that good work in adapting to these new requirements.
What is required?
All schools must have an up-to-date policy, which is made available to parents and others. Schools must provide a copy of the policy free of charge to anyone who asks for one and should publish the policy on the school website – please see attached schemes of work and policy.

The Big Primary Quiz
The Year 6 students decided, as part of their PSHE lessons, to raise awareness and money for Maggs, a local charity who support the homeless and the vulnerable in Worcester.
They planned a quiz across the whole of primary. Each class helped with the organisation and created their own rounds based on things they have been learning in their class. There was also a music round and performance led by Gareth from Severn Arts.
As well as the quiz, primary organised a tombola, a raffle and a cake sale. Posters were also created as part of their English persuasive language/features unit. Pupils invited their parents in for this event (thank you for all that could make it! It was lovely seeing you in our school!)
Primary managed to raise an amazing £90 for Maggs. A big well done and thank you to our pupils, families and staff for all the support. And a thank you to Erin from Maggs for joining us!
