St Helen’s Church Visit

Primary 3 and Year 7 pupils recently visited  St Helen’s church on Worcester’s High Street. They enjoyed a really warm welcome and a tour of the building and saw the altar, the font, the mosaic floor and even a statue of a skull! They found out that it is the oldest church in Worcester and that the church is providing a warm space for people during the winter on Friday mornings and provide hot drinks and blankets and hot-water bottles for people who need them in the cold weather. They listened to the Christmas Story and then made a Christmas card with a Nativity scene. They had a great time!
