Year 9 – Art – Spring 1
In Spring 1, year 9 set out to answer the question: What is geometric sculpture?
They started by looking at work by Damian Oretega and being the set challenge of making a geometric sculpture out of card, before exploring work by Sol Lewitt and creating a modular sculpture out of lollypop sticks.
Students then a go at creating an identify name sculpture out of card, before moving on to use clay to form letters of their names and to creatively turn them into a sculpture.
