Year 9 – Art – Summer 1 + 2
Students in year 9 were challenged to an extended project across the summer terms – researching and making their own soft toys.
Students looked at existing products and their websites and advertising and how they appealed to their target audiences before designing their own product to make.
Students then used available materials and used their sewing skills (or a glue gun) to create the template of their toys before using toy stuffing and sealing them up.
The students showed great perseverance, resilience and the ability to overcome difficulties during these lessons.
