Feeling Egg-Spired!
Students throughout the school took part in an egg-citing Easter competition – to get creative with a hardboiled egg!
It was fantastic to see how much effort students put in – especially with some of the egg puns including ‘The Yolker’ and ‘Meggy Simpson’ – staff were even modelled with a ‘Mr Eggson’ (Mr Dowson), an ‘Egg Fenner’ (Ed Fenner) and a ‘Mr Eggwright’ (Mr Enwright).
Mr Enwright judged the competition (he remained impartial despite the flattery) and the winners were as follows:
1st – ‘The Omelette Man’ (year 9 student)
2nd – ‘Meggy Simpson’ (year 7 student)
3rd – ‘Sponge Bob Egg Pants’ (year 7 student)
4th – ‘Charmander’ (P2 student)
Students chose from a selection of art materials for their prize.
A big well done to all students who entered – everyone did an egg-cellent job!
