Year 11 PARA TAB 10 Challenge 2025

The Para Tab 10 Challenge is the annual event only afforded to Year 11. This is the sixth year for this now well-established challenge, which is always conducted in December when the weather is at its worst. The event is based around the entry requirements for the Parachute Regiment.   Three students and two staff members—endured a gruelling ten-mile march from Malvern to Worcester, each burdened by a relentless 20kg pack. The journey was not a mere stroll, but a test of physical and mental resilience. Every mile intensified the strain on their shoulders and lower backs, turning the rhythmic crunch of boots into a battle of will.

As they navigated the undulating terrain, the weight became a physical manifestation of exhaustion. Dehydration and muscle fatigue set in, yet the group maintained a disciplined pace. This arduous trek demanded absolute grit, proving their capacity to endure significant hardship under pressure.

Everyone crossed the line in an impressive 4 hours and were met by staff and pupils and were then presented with an engraved personalised trophy by Mrs Hill (Headteacher).
