The Princess Who Was Not Impressed (A Very Opinionated Pea Story)
As part of Theatre Week, year 8 went all out with a theatre production of The Princess Who Was Not Impressed (A Very Opinionated Pea Story). Students spent the week making a magnificent castle backdrop and props including crowns, tiaras and sceptre. In addition to the hands-on preparation, roles were assigned and rehearsals began with students taking the parts of The King, The Princess, The Servant, The Narrator and sound technician. Staff supported by braving the roles of The Prince, The Queen and The Second Servant.
A select audience was invited to the ticket only performance which was well received all round – could this be the beginning of an annual performance from the budding Riversides thespians?
