Warriors Foundation
On Wednesday 5th February Y11 had a visit from ‘Matt’ who is part of the Warriors Foundation who have been helping them with their sports leadership skills this year. He told his personal story of becoming partially blind at 41 and how he overcame difficulties and low points to flourish including travelling to Japan to take part in the international blind rugby cup. The boys asked some very pertinent questions and were inspired by his story.
The timing coincided with them completing their Breaking Limits leadership programme and Matt was able to present them with their certificates.
