Worcester Mosque – Jamia Masjid Ghousia Trip
Riversides pupils were welcomed to Worcester Central Mosque – Jamia Masjid Ghousia. The boys heard about each of the Five Pillars of Islam and were shown how Muslims pray and follow their faith. They were able to ask questions about ‘What is good and what is challenging about being a Muslim in Britain today?’ Younger pupils, who have been exploring ‘What makes some places special to believers,’ could experience the atmosphere and identify the symbols of Muslim faith.
