Reading Challenge Update
This half terms “childhood picks” reading challenge was finished off by Mr Daws! “I chose to read ‘Cops and Robbers’ by Janet and Alan Ahlberg; it’s one of my favourite books from childhood and now also a favourite of my son. It’s set in London, on Christmas Eve; the dastardly robbers are planning to steal all the presents. Only one man can stop them. Who? top cop, Officer Pugh.”
After reading the story, we had a quiz – Primary 1 (the cops) against Primary 2 (the robbers). It was close, but the robbers won! Whilst Primary 3 were tested with a fun comprehension to test their recap skills!
