Year 9 Careers Talk – Harlow’s Timber Yard
As part of year 9’s environmental careers topic, Dave from Harlow’s Timber Yard came to talk to the students about his current role at Harlow’s but also his journey to get there.
Dave spoke about his education and how he failed his exams the first time around despite liking school – but he eventually passed. He also wanted to be a professional footballer and had some trials but admits now that he didn’t work hard enough to make it.
Dave also shared some of his favourite quotes to help the students navigate their journey:
